Education is a priority in our community outreach efforts. For more than 20 years, our Academic Achievement Program has fostered a culture of achievement in the Springfield, MA, schools.
MassMutual Academic Achievement Program
Eligible high school students in Springfield who have maintained a B or better average for four consecutive marking periods are recognized as MassMutual Academic Achievers. Achievers are eligible for incentives to help them continue their academic success, such as free SAT Prep classes, workshops on college admissions and financial aid and career exploration.
MassMutual Reading Achievers Program
We reward Springfield elementary school students who read 25 books or more each school year through the MassMutual Reading Achievers Program. Over 5,000 students have reached this goal annually since 2006. Students attaining this goal have realized a significant increase in reading and English test scores.
MassMutual Scholars Program - Career Pathways Scholarships
Students interested in careers in financial services may be eligible to apply for a MassMutual Scholarship. Applicants must be college-bound seniors from Hampden County, MA, or Hartford County, CT, and attend college in the Springfield-Hartford region.
